After selecting an application, Yank searches the selected volumes for files that were created by the application (same creator type), and moves them to the Trash. It's always safer to have the “Ask before Trash” option set before moving any file to the Trash.
Keep these things in mind:
• You can move files from the Trash back to where they came from with the Finder's "Put Away" command:
1) Click on the files in the Trash that you want returned.
2) Select "Put Away" from the File menu (or type Command-Y).
Note: this may not work if you restart your Mac.
• Only files are moved to the Trash, not folders.
• You will need “Macintosh Easy Open” to fully use the Uninstall feature. If you don't have this Control Panel, you can download it from <http://swupdates.info.apple.com/usalpha.html>.
• If you use Yank, please send in the requested small fee!!
